If you are in a competitive fantasy baseball league, or just a avid fan, these 10 guys are going to have a breakout year in 2012, while also being able to be drafted low or bought cheap, with major production. Some will be rookies, some not, but they are not household names of the common fan, for now. Without further ado:

10. Chris Parmalee 1B (MInnesota Twins)--- With Justin Morneau a walking injury, and if he is healthy he will DH, Parmalee is the Opening Day everyday first baseman for the Twins. He showed great presence and patience at the plate at the end of last year, and tore up the minor leagues and has been progressed through the minors properly. He has average power and hits for average.

9. Josh Reddick RF (Oakland A's)--- Reddick was traded from the Red Sox to the A's during the offseason, a great deal for the A's since they love cheap players with team control, and needed outfielders BADLY. He was a spark and a catalyst for the Red Sox for much of the year batting in bottom of order, if he can perform in the big pressure market, imagine what he can do in the middle of the order for a small market team. He is a great contact hitter with speed, and average power.

8. Lorenzo Cain CF (KC Royals)--- A 25 year old rookie, with blazing speed, with a great bat, not much power. He has been unfortunate and stuck behind alot of people during his tenure in the minor leagues, but he will be the Opening Day CF for the Royals. They will have a potent lineup of young talent next year with Hosmer, Moustakas, and Gordon, and Cain should be a great 1 or 2 hole hitter with alot of bats to bring him home behind him.

7. Yonder Alonso 1B (San Diego Padres)-- A big talent with a big bat, unfortunately he was stuck behind Joey Votto in Cincinnatti for a few years so he was delayed in being in the bigs. He was traded to SD during the offseason, which assured him of a starting job, but also sent him to the worst hitters park in the league. He has extreme power though, so it shouldn't hinder him too much, and he has shown through his career he is a consistent .300 hitter. Grab him when you can, he is gonna be a star.

6. Brett Lawrie 3B (Toronto Blue Jays)--- Jaw dropping skills, young, brash, and lively. He has a live bat with great power, speed, and knack for the game. He made a huge splash last year with the Jays before being sidelined with a hand injury late, but he will be healthy and ready to go when spring training starts. He will be a consistent .275/25/90/20SB big leaguer for years to come.

5. Jordan Zimmerman P (Washington Nationals)--- A strikeout machine, power pitcher who had Tommy John surgery three years ago, only to come back nasty as ever. The nationals limited his innings to 160 last year, so he was shut down with a month left in the year, but he didn't disappoint. With their improved lineup, the Nationals are a legit threat in the NL East, and will win many games whiile he pitches, and he will be their no. 3 starter on Opening Day.

4. Matt Weiters C (Baltimore Orioles)--- Weiters has been in the league for 3 years, and at 22 then, was very young for a catcher to play in the major leagues. He is 25 now, matured, and absolutely tore up AL pitching in the second half of the year, but is still not known as a prime catcher, which means you can grab him for cheap. He plays alot of games at catcher, and also occassionally DH's if need be, but playing 130 games as a catcher is alot, and he stays healthy. He bats in the middle of a good lineup, and gets plenty of RBI opportunities. He is a 25 hr threat every year.

3. Desmond Jennings OF (Tampa Bay Rays)--- He may not be so much of a sleeper, but you can probably still grab this 2nd year phenom relatively cheap or low, but if and when you take him, you will not regret it. He is a five tool player. Will hit 20 bombs, bat around .300, steal you over 40 bases, and will score alot of runs with the revamped and dangerous Ray lineup. Think of him as a poor mans Matt Kemp.

2. Dustin Ackley 2B (Seattle Mariners)--- Ackley was a highly touted rookie last year brought up in the middle of the season, and finished in top 5 of the ROY voting. But because he played for the lowly Mariners, not many people took notice. He is definitely someone you can grab low or cheap, and with the 2B position not exactly a influx of talent, he will outperform where you get him at.

1. Matt Moore P (Tampa Bay Rays)--- Anyone watch Game 1 of the ALDS against the Rangers? If you did, you didn't know who was pitching more than likely, and were suprised by how a skinny left hander can throw 98 mph, with a nasty change, so effortlessly like he was tossing around a nerf ball. His pitching style suggests health longevity, and if you are in a keeper league, MAKE SURE YOU GET HIM. He is only 22 yrs old, will be in the Rays rotation for years to come after signing a long term deal, and is a flamethrowing, smart, strikeout machine. In 3 years, he will be unanimously a top 5 pitcher in the whole league. A true can't miss prospect.

If this helps even one person, just one, then my job is done! If you have any other suggestions or players, feel free to post and can talk about them. Pitchers and Catchers report soon, I'm ******* pumped.

I see you are a Oriole fan, I contemplated putting Matusz on here heavily, rumors are that he has been a beast in offseason and ready to finally dominate.

I'm not an Orioles fan, I'm actually a Cardinals fan. You probably saw my hub on the Orioles. I'm actually doing a hub for each team and how I think they will do in 2012.
